With an online audience of over 150,000 people, the brand has grown to become a wardrobe staple for kids and adults up and down the country, not to mention icons such as Anthony Joshua, Kyle Walker and Giggs who have all been spotted repping Fresh Ego Kid clothing.
Generating an ROI from paid advertising
With bullet proof branding and a huge online audience, Fresh Ego Kid had already overcome most of the difficult challenges associated with growing a business. However their paid marketing campaigns had been struggling to generate a positive return on ad spend.
The ads themselves were driving plenty of sales but the cost to acquire a customer was roughly the same as the average basket size meaning that most months they were breaking even.
So they came to us to help them figure out how they could reduce their customer acquisition costs and increase their average basket size order.

With a clear focus on lowering the customer acquisition cost, we created a three stage sales funnel to help promote a sale across their latest line of clothing.
For the top of the funnel ads we sent a cold audience to the site to browse through stock at their own leisure. For the middle of the funnel we retargeted anyone who had visited the site with ads offering them a discount on online stock. Lastly, and crucially, for the bottom of the funnel we used dynamic product ads to retarget people with the specific products they had already viewed.
A three stage ecommerce funnel is particularly effective because each layer of the funnel works like a safety net. If they don't purchase from the first ad, there are two more sets of ads waiting as back up to nudge them closer towards a purchase.
This was exactly the case with Fresh Ego Kid, because while we were losing money on our top of the funnel ads, we were making more than it back from the bottom of the funnel ads.
A 5X return on Ad Spend
Over the course of the campaign Fresh Ego Kid spent £3,400 and generated £17,100 worth of sales. That's a 5X return on investment and 5.04% return on ad spend. They now have a scalable sales funnel that can work as a vital cog within their marketing machine.
